Simple Stripes.

I have always loved working for Topshop as a brand and there are definitely many perks of working in Personal Shopping. Not only am I surrounded (and tempted) by clothes all day but we also get to dress up in the newest pieces and photograph each other for Instagram. Social media is a big part of personal shopping and the brands integrity, and it also helps up to promote our own style and personal accounts.

Two of us went out this morning around Manchester and had a little dress up session. Although there are many pieces on my Topshop wish list at the moment, my style isn't particularly outgoing so there were no stand out pieces which I wanted to shoot. I'd already shot the pink suit last week which was featured on the Topshop Instagram, so today I went for a more classic look. It's slightly depressing that we're now starting to get deliveries of knitwear and coats in store as i'm nowhere near ready for summer to be over, however this navy slouch midi coat really caught my eye and went perfectly with this curved hem leather mini skirt and stripe v-neck t-shirt.

Topshop's shoe game is particularly strong at the moment, and there are a great selection of fashion forward mules both online in store. Metallic's, suede's and flared heels seem to be all the rage at the moment, and these grey suede pointed mules are a different take steering away from the peep toe and kindly taking us into the autumn months. I already have a yellow pair in my collection and have just added a metallic pink, so these are definitely next on the list for a more classic and casual feel.
