Casual Denim Two Ways.

Look One

These Paige jeans are a godsend to my wardrobe. Until recently it was rare to see me in a pair of jeans, however I live in my mom jeans nowadays. I do tend to be drawn to the same style, so this cropped flare pair are definitely a nice alternative when reaching for my favourite tee and jeans in the morning. I went for two different casual looks in this post both featuring my new Paige jeans, and they are both nice transitional looks for going into the Autumn/Winter months. I'm still in denial that the weather is getting colder and my bare legs still make an appearance most days, however I am certainly looking forward to coat and knitwear shopping and also digging my favourite shearling coat out of my wardrobe.

So with look one I paired my jeans with a simple white body and this bargain khaki green satin bomber from Zara. Zara have some great special price offers on at the moment, and I managed to pick up this jacket for just £19.99. It's definitely a more casual look than I would usually go for and i'm not usually a bomber jacket wearing kind of gal, however with the premium feel and oversized fit I couldn't say no to this one and i'm very tempted to go back for the pink.

I think the accessories were everything for this look as the outfit I chose was pretty minimal. I tried to steer away from buying this Zara bag as every blogger in the world seems to be sporting it on Instagram, however it is definitely one of those have to buy items for every fashion lover. It does look beautiful in pictures and with every outfit, so it's very likely to be in a lot of my outfit posts over the next few months. As I said the look was probably more casual than I would usually go for, however the shoe choice changed all of this. A lace up heel is a go to choice to add something different to your outfit, and it added in a bit of my usual style that this outfit was missing.

Look Two

This cardigan was a bit of an impulse buy and it is the first piece of knitwear I have invested in this year. It is the best oversized comfy knitwear piece for wearing throughout winter and it is warm enough to wear without a jacket at the moment. I really wanted to go for a slouchy thrown together outfit for this look, and wearing the cardigan off the shoulder with a waist belt to pull it in worked perfectly. The off the shoulder look is a big trend at the moment with jackets, shirts and knitwear, and it certainly adds a "fashion" element to any boring outfit.

The only difference I made between the two looks was the jacket to the cardigan, and it shows how changing a single piece can transform the look completely. So if you have favourite pieces in your wardrobe you want to get away with wearing on a regular basis, it can definitely be done without being too obvious. This was a slightly more girly approach to wearing my new Paige jeans, however the cardigan would also look great with a leather mini and heeled boots for a slightly more dressy look.
