Statement boots.

Jumper - Pretty Little Thing | Boots - Asos | Skirt - Topshop | Bag - Zara | Hat - Vintage

Admittedly this post has been waiting to go up for a while now, and it seems to have accidentally turned into a post about sale items. I don't know why it's taken me so long to sit down and write this post. I've been stupidly busy recently with a lot of things going on in my life (including LFW which there will be a post about soon) so it's been rare for me to be able to sit down at my laptop. I'm sat here after photographing products and flatlays all day and should be getting ready to go out tonight, however this post can't wait any longer.

So this is my first ever pair of thigh high boots, and aren't they incredible?! Why stay subtle when you can go all out with a PVC finish and Perspex heels? I went for a fairly simple and casual look to go with these boots as they're statement enough as it is, however I still got some very weird looks whilst strutting through Manchester's Northern Quarter on a dull and very cold Saturday afternoon. Not my usual Saturday day time attire, however I do admit I was enjoying the attention. The best thing about these boots has to be the price, I managed to get them in the Asos sale for the bargain price of £30 and although they're nearly sold out now there are a few sizes left so grab them while you can!

This jumper is the dream and it is so cosy for winter. Unfortunately it's not quite long enough to wear as a jumper dress, however I was worried I might have given off a Kim K vibe if I wore it like that anyway. It's such an easy piece to throw on with anything and as you can see it can be dressed up too if you're not feeling like wearing a pretty dress. I haven't managed to find a lot of knitwear pieces which I love this year which is always my problem when it comes to winter, however this one was the perfect staple piece to add to my wardrobe and I am a huge fan of the oversized fit.

I'm so excited to wear these boots again. I haven't felt daring enough to wear them since, however I think I might have inspired myself to dig them out tonight after looking through these pictures. It's definitely been my favourite outfit in a long time!
