Pajama Dressing and LFW.

Firstly let's talk about the outfit. I can't decide just how acceptable it is to leave the house looking like you've forgotten to get dressed. It definitely isn't an outfit i would usually go for (just to clarify they aren't actually pajamas), however with having a lack of inspiration with Fashion over the last month or so I wanted to try something different. I go through fazes where i'm either overly inspired by what people wear and the trends at the time or the complete opposite and find it such a chore choosing what to wear in the morning, and in recent weeks i have been finding it hard to find new pieces i genuinely love. I have certain go to places to find fashion inspiration - obviously one of these is instagram and my saved pictures folder is full out amazing outfit inspo, and the other big one for me in pinterest. When i am struggling to find something to wear for any occasion my "outfit goals" pinterest board is usually a big saviour.

There is no harm in stepping outside your comfort zone and it is something I am aiming to do a lot more often now i'm at the point where i am moving forward with my career. I guess this outfit was a bit of an experiment when i tried it on in the Mango fitting rooms, however i ended up actually really loving it so it deserves a place on my blog. The pieces are definitely a lot more versatile when worn seperately. The classic striped shirt goes perfectly with black jeans, and i have been wearing the trousers a lot with a white tee and leather jacket so if the whole pajama inspired look isn't the one for you this is a great alternative. With the trousers being £35.99 and the shirt just under £30, they are super affordable pieces you can create many looks with.

Over the last few weeks I have been planning for London Fashion Week, and origianally i bought this as an option to take with me. I am doing a shoot with a huge accessory brand whilst i am there which i am really looking forward to, and i definitely feel as though this outfit is fashion week worthy. There is so much pressure around wearing the perfect outfits at fashion week - outfits which look like you haven't put any effort into at all but you have actually spent weeks planning in advance (I guess this look would be a perfect example right?!). Unfortunately i don't feel as though I am the kind of person who can just throw anything on and look amazing, so planning for big events is definitely important to me. I recently saw a meme which said "I am nicer when i like my outfit", and this couldn't be more true! I can't wait to show you what i get up to next week at Fashion Week and of course there will be a blog post to follow.
