The Perfect Drink For The Festive Season With Boë Gin

| Post sponsored by Boë Gin |

There are so many reasons to love the festive and party season, but my two favourites? The outfits and the amazing drinks! My social life seems to be the most exciting around this time of year (as it most likely is for everyone) and finding the perfect drink to share with your friends and family is just as exciting as going out itself. I've teamed up with Boë Gin to tell you why their Violet Gin is my drink of choice this season, and why you should add a bit of colour to your wardrobe at this time of year!

I don't think I know a single person who doesn't love Gin, and flavoured Gins are becoming more and more popular with Gin lovers everywhere. There are the usual raspberry and rhubarb flavours, but I have to say Violet gin isn't one I have tried or even heard of before until I discovered Boë Gin. I can confirm that it is without a doubt my new favourite! I am usually a simple Gin and Tonic girl because the classics are always best, and adding a splash of tonic to Boë's violet gin creates the perfect easy to make drink. Garnished with a cocktail stick of blackberries and not only does it taste great but it is also the perfect girly night out accessory.

If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, the world is your oyster when it comes to making drinks with your Boë Gin and it is such a great flavour to experiment with. The addition of violets creates a stylish gin with a light, delicate taste and beautiful colour and aroma which goes hand in hand with many different flavours. Why not try adding Prosecco for a fizzier more celebratory drink for Christmas Day and New Years eve, or mix with mint, lime and sugar topping with Soda water for a modern take on the Mojito (my favourite cocktail)!

When I think of Gin, it reminds me of good times with friends, dancing, and having a bit too much fun, and that's also what Christmas is for right?! So what better drink to accompany making memories this festive season. Not only does it taste great, but everyone will wonder what your drinking from it's amazing purple hue. I'm definitely not the only girl who thinks the girlier looking the drink the better!

But when it comes to dressing for party season, why not match your outfit to your favourite drink? I can't say I am usually one for wearing pinks and purples, or even colour at all for a matter of fact, but what better time of year to mix things up a little bit and the beautiful colour of the gin itself definitely inspired me to experiment with a bolder colour palette. A bright block colour dress is a bold statement, and who doesn't want to be the centre of attention at all the parties around festive season? I toned my look down with the addition of a black metallic blazer which also added some subtle sparkle, and my headband and rhinestone bag finished off the look nicely with a feminine touch.
